Setting up Outlook Express
A number of our clients enquire how to setup their email, so here is a quick guide to Outlook Express.

Information you will need prior to completing this is your email address, your Mail Server name, your ISP's Outgoing Server name and your Login and Password

First choose 'Tools', then 'Accounts'

In the screen that opens click 'Add', then 'Mail'

Enter the name you want the recipient to see when they read your mail
Enter Name
 
Enter your email address  
Reply to Email Address
 
Choose an incoming mail server type. (Usually Pop3) Put your server address for incoming and outgoing mail.

This is usually 'mail' then a period "." then your web name including the "dot com", then choose next.

Generally you would be told by your ISP what the Outgoing Server name is. You can try the same name as your Incoming Server but this may not work.

Enter the Login name and Password in the relevant boxes.
If the 'Remember Password' box is not ticked, tick it.

Just as it says in the screen, Congratulations! Just click 'Finish'.
